On Day 5, we went to the a museum about Claude Monet. He is an impressionist artist. That means he makes pictures that feel like certain feelings, but might not look exactly real. My favorite picture was this one of lilypads.
Next, we went to a fancy restaurant. Mommy said it was supposed to look like an old train station, but it didn’t look like that to me. I put a white napkin in my lap. Mommy let us eat ice cream for dessert.
In the afternoon, we went to the neighborhood called Montmarte. It is on a big hill. Near the train entrance, we saw this wall. It says “I love you” in all the different languages in the world.
We climbed a big hill with our scooters to see the Dali museum. I saw statues of melting clocks. I’d seen a picture of them in school, but not statues before.
We also visited Sacre Coeur, which was another church. We did not go inside because there were too many people, but we did see a big view of all of Paris. We used a cable car to go back down to the subway.
We had a dinner of noodles – yum – and mommy made us get our hair cut for school. I did NOT like this.
